Podium DD and Podium Pedals announced

At SimRacing Expo 2025, Fanatec unveiled its new Podium DD wheelbase and Podium Pedals, set to replace the Podium DD2 as the flagship direct‑drive system. The Podium DD is built on the ClubSport DD base and features 25 Nm of continuous holding torque and a peak of 33 Nm. It has a full aluminium internal and external structure for rigidity and thermal management, uses revised electronics and a custom servo motor with a skewed rotor to reduce cogging, and supports Fanatec’s FullForce feedback for improved detail. The base retains the compact footprint of the ClubSport DD and offers an optional 10 cm shaft extension; it is PC‑only and uses the new QR2 quick‑release for wheel compatibility.

Fanatec also introduced the Podium Pedals, a precision brake and throttle set. The brake pedal uses a forged aluminium plate rated at 150 kg and a custom load cell rated over 200 kg, with an innovative elastomer compression system to prevent overstressing and ensure consistent pedal feel. The pedal set features tool‑free adjustments, Hall‑effect sensors, and an adjustable clutch bite point slider; a Formula variant with carbon‑fibre faces will also be available. Both the Podium DD and Podium Pedals are scheduled to launch in Q1 2026, with pricing to be announced; they will include Fanatec’s standard three‑year warranty.
